Meet the Chef
Executive Chef Todd Clore
Todd Clore grew up in a small town outside of Denver, Colorado. His first experience with restaurants was as a dishwasher in a local family-owned business. He worked his way up in the restaurant and ultimately decided to pursue higher education. He graduated from the CIA in 1984.
After graduation, he moved to Napa Valley where he worked under Phillipe Jeanty and Michel Cornu. He later moved to Los Angeles where he was sous chef for Roy Yamaguchi and then at L’Orangerie under Jean Francois Meteigner, where he was the only American in an all-French kitchen.
He then moved to Orange County where he worked to open a restaurant for Michael Kang before moving to open a French restaurant under Pascal Olhats and later to take over the Hotel Laguna.
An opportunity arose for him to take over as Chef de Cuisine in Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas where he spent the next 9 years before opening his own restaurant in 2004.
